And it has started

So it started as a story that I wrote many...many years ago. The idea that there was this one character with no heartbeat and no memory and no understanding what was going on.

There was this idea of a guy, his hair all messy and curled around his eyes almost owl like in appearance. The panic in his face as he realised he can remember nothing.

But the first thing I wanted people to understand was this was no vampire story. Most people assume a person with no heartbeat is the walking dead, but Kilo is very much alive as are the band of strange folk around him.

So that was the starting point. Where do I take him next?

The idea of these updates is to slowly let you in on the story of Kilo and the other Black Veins and slowly unveil each of their stories and hopefully you will see why it is called Black Vein "Rising".
